β 11:11 Tuesdays by Vaishali Wagle November 25, 2025 β Happy 11:11 Tuesdays Reader, Here are 1 Thought, 1 Quote, 1 Word and 1 Humour for you to reflect upon this week. β β 1.Thought
The playlist in your mind ... β I was reading an article about Olympic athletes and came across an interesting statistic - more than 85% of athletes engage in positive self-talk (i.e. the playlist in the mind). As a past sports person, I remember my coach would do something similar when we won matches and when we lost matches, when we practiced and when we were traveling in the bus to go for a tournament - she would make us repeat after her a few 'phrases', which became our shield from all the ups and downs of the sporting journey. β The power of positive self-talk is known to have helped legendary players like Michael Jordan, Serena Williams, Cristiano Ronaldo, Saina Nehwal, Usain Bolt and many more to boost their confidence, maintain focus, minimise stress, manage mental challenges, and add longevity to their sporting careers. As leaders, wouldn't it be wonderful, if we could borrow this practice from sports psychology and build it into our daily rhythm - when we attend meetings, when we make decisions, when something fails, when something succeeds, when we are on stage, and when we are off stage.... β Today, I invite you to change the playlist in your mind. A simple mantra like "You can do this", "Stay composed, this is your moment", "It's your time" or any other phrase that resonates well with you could become your new playlist. β What possibilities can truly happen if you changed the playlist in your mind? #LeadershipLabβ β

Thought Senior leadership is about discernment, to know what needs your energy. The preparation to leadership is not about having answers to all situations, but to build a mindset that can choose what not to react to. Where can restraint create more long-term power for you? #LeadershipLab 1. Quote βThe essence of strategy is...
11:11 Tuesdays by Vaishali Wagle January 27, 2026 Happy 11:11 Tuesdays Reader, At a leadership conference in Pune last week, I spoke about how auditioning for a lead role in a movie and auditioning for a CXO role are quite similar... and the key lies in preparing for these auditions, because that improves - a) the chances of being invited to such auditions, b) getting that lead role and c) success in that role to make a blockbuster. If preparing for a CXO auditions is on your priority for...
11:11 Tuesdays by Vaishali Wagle January 20, 2026 Happy 11:11 Tuesdays Reader, Here are 1 Thought, 1 Quote, 1 Word and 1 Humour for you to reflect upon this week. 1. Thought Disruption has a way of interrupting our identity before it disrupts our role. Leaders who grow fastest donβt resist disruption, they interrogate it because the discomfort that comes with disruption isnβt a signal to retreat; itβs a data point asking to be examined. What discomfort is pointing you toward your next...
