The Lost Art of Being In my coaching practice, I encounter clients who like to speak a lot and hardly pause until a coaching question lands somewhere deep inside them and makes them stop and think. Itβs a beauty to watch this happen, and I love it every time a client reaches that dimension, because it indicates that they are now going inwards to start being. β To start being is to guide your attention from the outward focus to within you and find the lost connection with your own self β directing your energy in expanding your consciousness. It's asking yourself 'who am I being' during the various things you might do in a day, like - attend a meeting, write an email, speak at an event, mentor a team member. β Why is it important, you wonder? Because when you are aware of who you are being, it enhances the quality of your doings and deepens the experience of your relationships.
